he province of Castellón is the most Northern region in
the Valencian Community; a larger area which includes our
province and is located on the Eastern coast of Spain, by the
Mediterranean Sea.
Nowadays Castellón is one of the main tourist attractions
in Europe. Not only has the province a wide range of leisure
activities to offer the visitor, but it also boasts amodern transport
network along the Spanish and European Mediterranean Basin.

composent le Communauté de Valence, située, tout comme
notre région, à l’Est de l’Espagne et au bord de la mer
Méditerranée.
Castellón est aujourd’hui un des principaux pôles d’attraction
touristique d’Europe grâce au large éventail de possibilités de
loisirs que possède la région, associé à un réseau moderne de
communications sur l’arc méditerranéen espagnol et européen.

he AP-7 motorway is part of the E-15 European route and crosses
the entire province from North to South linking it up conveniently
with Europe. Moreover, the Mudéjar highway (A-23) goes through
the South of the province and is also part of the E-07 European route,
simplifying access to the Cantabrian coast and the South of France. The
N-232 road links the North of the province with the North of Spain.
The high-speed rail of the Mediterranean Basin stops in Castellón,
Therefore, rail transport operates every day, connecting the city to
Europe and to the main cities in Spain.
Castellón’s airport, which will start operating soon, offers a new way
of getting to our towns, beaches and mountains, bringing Castellón
closer to Europe and offering the passengers our tourist attractions
and our excellent weather, with more than 300 sunny days per year.
As for Castellón’s harbour, many cruise ships moor there, making it
the starting point for trips to many interesting parts of the province.
A wide range of coaches and local trains bring closer the furthest
places in the province in a very simple and convenient way, so
everyone can discover the thousand and one charms of this land.

’autoroute AP-7, qui fait partie de l’axe européen E-15, traverse la
province du Nord au Sud et la relie facilement à l’Europe. D’autre part,
la voie express Mudéjar (A-23), qui traverse le Sud de la province fait
également partie de l’axe européen E-07 et facilite les communications
avec la corniche cantabrique et le Sud de la France. La N-232 relie,
quant à elle, le Nord de la province au Nord de l’Espagne.
Le couloir ferroviaire méditerranéen passe lui aussi par Castellón avec
des trains quotidiens qui la relient au reste de l’Europe et aux principales
villes espagnoles.
L’aéroport de Castellón, qui sera prochainement ouvert, offre de
nouvelles voies d’accès à nos villes, à nos plages et à nos montagnes,
rapprochant ainsi d’avantage Castellón et l’Europe, pour proposer aux
voyageurs notre offre touristique et notre splendide climat et ses 300
jours de soleil par an.
Pour sa part, le port de Castellón accueille des bateaux de croisière et
est ainsi le point de départ de ces visiteurs vers de nombreux points
d’intérêt de la province.
Une offre complète de bus et de trains de proximité permet à ceux qui
souhaitent découvrir le grand charme de cette terre et de connaître les
endroits les plus retirés de la province de façon facile et efficace.
